As part of the PROLIFI Project, the Dr. José Lourenço Júnior met with his partners for the first time, in person, in Madrid!
PROLIFIC - PROmoting digital rights LIteracy For Including Citizens - is a European-wide initiative that results from the growing concern for the recognition of the digital rights of citizens, namely for the protection of the most vulnerable groups (migrants, people with mental and/or motor disabilities and the elderly) the misuse of the internet and the training of professionals who work with them to avoid situations of identity theft, scams and other constraints in an online context.
During this two-day 'Meeting', results were presented from the beginning of the project and several topics were discussed that will play an essential role in the creation of digital tools that support these vulnerable groups and professionals to integrate into today's society by having access to more autonomous and secure internet!
